Batman was what got me into my comic world.  The man is a category of his own, a superhero without powers, who is powerful, trained to the peak of human physical capabilities, intelligent, and amazing. I fell in love, basically, for the first time in my childhood, there was this hint of love for another human being that wasn’t a family type.  But DC Couldn’t hold me, instead, Marvel swooped in with the original X-Men cartoons, Rogue and Wolverine were just amazing to me and I couldn’t help but get sucked into buying the comics and reading them to pass moments by. And as I got older, I got to read the heavier things, Deadpool Max, Punisher Max, The Darkest Night/Brightest Day, Old Man Logan, comic after comic.
